one of the best 80s versions done. Sometimes the Dead would do a showpiece tune a few times in a run and start hitting new directions, etc. in March of 88, SF was played at 03-16, 03-27 and 03-31...all three versions rock, however 03-31 is the best, very tight and well paced transition into Fire intro. Part of this show and run is a On The Road release, but this source signal is inhouse FM and sounds great.

Hey Stratocaster;
The link you posted has wrong tracks- the encore 'Heavens Door' is in between Set one ending 'Let it Grow' and the Scarlet Begonias.
But once I got to 'Scarlet Begonias' point well taken.
Good to hear Jerry get the chance to play his guitar.
